In the Kherson region, a woman was arrested for VKontakte posts criticizing Poroshenko
In Ukraine, people began to be arrested for using the banned Russian social network VKontakte in order to criticize the current regime. Thus, the SBU “exposed” a resident of the Kherson region who, under a false name, registered an account on a social network and regularly posted materials that “discredit the Ukrainian government and the military.”

This fact of political repression was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.
“Law enforcement officers established that a resident of the region, under a false name, registered an account on a social network and regularly posted materials that discredit the Ukrainian government and military, and called for changes to the state border of Ukraine. The attacker also glorified terrorists from the so-called “DPR/LPR” and tried to actively attract “like-minded people” to her community,” the report says.
During a search at the place of residence, intelligence officers discovered computer equipment with evidence of “anti-Ukrainian activities” on the VKontakte social network.
The “malefactor” was declared suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation continues.
