Kharkov, March 16 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – Despite the authorities’ ban, a pro-Russian rally began on Freedom Square in Kharkov at 12:00.

The protesters are holding flags of the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Borotba organization, posters “We are against NATO” and “South-East for the Federation”. People chant “Russia!”
Participants unfurled Russian flags and imperial banners.
The bailiff tried to read out the decision to ban mass rallies in the square today, in response, the protesters tried to beat him
The performer took refuge in the bus; the bus was blocked by a crowd, but was soon released.
The regional administration building is cordoned off by several cordons of policemen in helmets and with shields. There are buses with law enforcement officers on the streets adjacent to the square.
As Navigator reported, on March 15 in Kharkov, pro-Russian protesters drove Mayor Gennady Kernes from the square.
On March 14, clashes took place in Kharkov between pro-Russian activists and Ukrainian nationalists from the Right Sector.
