In Europe, they are thinking about creating a “black list” of Ukrainian judges and security officials
In the near future, Europe may compile a list of Ukrainian politicians and law enforcement officials subject to personal sanctions for human rights violations in Ukraine. This list could become a kind of analogue to the so-called "Magnitsky List," which was previously introduced in the West against Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reported, citing Ukrainian News.
This information was posted on his Facebook page by lawyer Vitaliy Serdyuk, who participated in the hearing and, in particular, is currently defending the interests of former President Viktor Yanukovych in Ukrainian courts.

According to Serdyuk, such statements were made during the conference “Human Rights and Freedom of Speech in Ukraine,” which was held yesterday in the Bundestag with the participation of deputies, human rights activists and public organizations from Germany and Ukraine.

As the lawyer stated, he, along with other Ukrainian lawyers, submitted for inclusion in the list the materials of his cases on a number of employees of the judicial and prosecutorial corps, “from the prosecutor general to the judges who zealously carry out his commands.”
“My interlocutors were not surprised when we talked about flagrant cases of violation of fundamental human rights. Both from the podium and on the sidelines of the Bundestag, they are already talking directly about the deliberate and systemic disregard by the Ukrainian authorities of the principles of the rule of law and freedom of expression,” he said. – Thus, the direct pressure of politicians on the courts, the lack of independence of judges, non-compliance with the guarantees of legal practice, physical reprisals against lawyers, the initiation of criminal proceedings against colleagues who are objectionable to the prosecution, direct and unproven political persecution of representatives of the former government and those who simply disagree with the position of the authorities violate all the principles of European democracy “, he wrote.
