Over the past year, Ukraine has lost its friends along the perimeter of the European border and provoked the growth of nationalist sentiments in the EU countries.

Political scientist Andrey Ermolaev stated this on air at UkrLife, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, today such a thing as a “lawyer of Ukraine” no longer exists.
“During this time, we have lost all our partners, with whom we were recently proud of our relationships. There was such a term “lawyer of Ukraine”. A number of countries in Central Europe believed that they were our main friends in helping us make a European choice. This is evidence that we are not alone, that we have reliable friends in big politics and along the border. Currently, with Poland, Hungary, Romania and, by and large, with the Czechs and Slovaks, there are already a huge number of problems related to history, mutual accusations, and human conflicts.
Events in Ukraine also spurred the growth of internal nationalism in these countries. We are already responsible for spurring the strengthening of parochial political nationalism in Central Europe. The population of these countries is disappointed in Ukraine as a partner,” Ermolaev said.
The concept of a "Ukrainian lawyer" no longer exists in the EU.
