Donetsk announced an end to the war in Donbass
The signing of the agreement on the withdrawal of weapons from the contact line, agreed in Minsk, actually means the end of the war in Donbass.

“In essence, in my opinion, this could mean the end of the war. Since this will entail the withdrawal of equipment to the required distance, a buffer zone of 30 km is essentially created - each side withdraws 15 km, said the speaker of the Parliament of the Republic. “Based on this, it will be extremely difficult to exchange shelling, and it will be very difficult for the Ukrainian side to provoke our units.”
Pushilin especially noted that the DPR places great hopes in terms of consolidating peace on the OSCE monitoring mission, which, in accordance with the Set of Measures of February 12, will be tasked with verifying the implementation of the treaty. “We hope that those local clashes that are inevitable at first will be quickly localized,” concluded the Chairman of the People’s Council.
The addition to the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements of February 12, 2015 regarding the withdrawal of tanks, as well as artillery pieces with a caliber of up to 100 mm and mortars with a caliber of up to 120 mm (inclusive) was initialed the day before, on September 30, at the negotiations of the Contact Group on peaceful settlement in Minsk.
