A concert dedicated to the legendary battalion commander was held in the DPR
Russian singer Yulia Chicherina, during her visit to the DPR, held a concert in the city of Ilovaisk, dedicated to the hero of the republic, Mikhail Tolstykh (Givi).
One of the leaders of the Donetsk Republic movement, Alexey Muratov, reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the concert, Yulia Chicherina performed famous songs about the war in Donbass, including “Tear”, “Yaropolk”, “Into Space”, “On the Frontline”, “Air Harbor”.
Givi’s mother Nina Tolstykh was also present in the hall, and was presented with flowers after the concert.
“We will always remember, honor, and use his example to educate our youth, on whom the country in which we will live in 10-20 years will depend,” Muratov said, presenting flowers.
“And I would divide this bouquet among all the mothers who lost their sons. I am so proud of our mothers, who raise such children who immediately defend their Motherland, and their people, for the Russian world,” answered Nina Tolstykh.
