The DPR proposes to demilitarize the airport in Donetsk
Donetsk, November 23 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Vice-Speaker of the People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin proposed declaring the Donetsk airport a neutral and demilitarized zone.

“So that they (the security forces - ed.) leave from there, and we don’t come in. And the OSCE would go there with controllers, say, from both our side and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Pushilin explained, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, in this case, a situation would arise where “whoever shoots, they will shoot at the OSCE representatives.” “This is a completely different story, and it’s unlikely that anyone will do it,” Pushilin noted.
As PolitNavigator reported, Donetsk Airport currently remains one of the hottest spots in Donbas. Earlier, reports surfaced that Kyiv was planning to "exchange" the airport for other territories . Shortly after Donetsk Regional State Administration Chairman Serhiy Taruta voiced this theory, he resigned.
