Donetsk, January 23 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The leadership of the Donetsk People’s Republic is ready to legalize the death penalty as capital punishment.

“The DPR will adopt a law on the death penalty,” said the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, during a conversation with Donetsk students and teachers.
At the same time, according to him, it is also planned to confiscate apartments from those who left the region and do not pay utilities. At the same time, he noted that in Ukraine there is also a norm for confiscation of housing for unpaid utilities.
“People who left and are stirring things up... Imagine, you went to Krasnoarmeysk or Vinnitsa, and some still have real estate and business. Is our republic able to make sure that those who moo there are already mooing as beggars?” – he is quoted far away by the publication “Ostrov”, known for its harsh assessments of the DPR and the militias.
“We have fighters, we have refugees who need somewhere to live, we have teachers who deserve apartments who need living space,” he said.
