Odessa, November 13 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Odessa, an elderly man was beaten to death because of a wallet with money.

According to law enforcement officers, the pensioner was walking along one of the central streets when he was attacked by two guys. Wanting to take possession of his wallet, the attackers took advantage of the old man’s helplessness and began to strike him all over his body. A few days later, the pensioner died in hospital from his injuries.
The patrol officers quickly detained the attackers and took them to the Primorsky district police department to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The detainees were two residents of the Odessa region, aged 28 and 32, who had already had problems with the law and had repeatedly served months in prison.
Law enforcement officers reported that the attackers noticed a pensioner near a trade stall and “herded” him. Two criminal cases have been filed against those who attacked the old man - for robbery and for causing grievous bodily harm.
As PolitNavigator reported, a schoolboy who killed two women was detained in Dneprodzerzhinsk.
