This was stated on the ATR television channel by Oleh Petrenko, a member of the National Corps, a former Azov militant, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, at the same time, the authorities understand that in the story with the current protesters, this will turn out to be a failure for them.
“The authorities clearly understand that they cannot allow the security forces to go too far somewhere. As soon as... this will be a progression - the least amount of violence will develop into a progression in support of those who set up this tent city... We are the people who volunteered for the war, we are ready for violence against the enemies of Ukraine, we are ready to give our lives, yes , kill enemies for every piece of land. If this whole story develops into something similar to the Maidan, if it becomes a popular topic, and not a topic of individual politicians, the National Corps will be with the people. What will be needed for this - violence or peacefully, whatever is needed,” Petrenko said.
