“Azov” did not appreciate the blockade of Donbass, and Semenchenko was called “an empty spot in uniform”

This assessment of the events was given by Oleg Shiryaev, head of the Kharkiv branch of the Azov Civil Corps and founder of the far-right paramilitary movement Eastern Corps, on his Facebook page.
“Block of communication routes in the ATO zone. Much has been said about her, many strong words have been written. As always, it was important for me to understand the essence and consequences - that is why the guys from the “Shidny Corps” went to the site. All this time, I analyzed the information received, materials from the press and, most importantly, who is presenting this information and in what way, who is assessing the consequences and how, who is involved in this action and how,” he wrote.
According to Shiryaev, “the conclusions are disappointing for those who believe in patriotism.”
“Because there is no smell of patriotism there - this is the main conclusion that I made. We did not see any concern for the people and their interests among the organizers and leaders of the blockade - they live for today, looking for their moment of glory. I don’t want to take part in personal PR campaigns and the theater of one actor Semyon Semenchenko. His actions have always been famous for populism, but this goes beyond all bounds of decency. For me and my brothers-in-arms, he became a symbol of what a patriot and combat commander should never turn into - an empty seat in uniform and with a warm chair under his ass,” he noted.
Shiryaev believes that the blockade, declared by the organizers as an action “to stop smuggling and free our prisoners, turned out to be another soap bubble and a platform for political PR for those who do not care about the damage caused to the country’s budget and ordinary residents.”
“And it is you and I who will have to pay for the consequences that this blockade will bring. Russia benefits from the blockade in the form in which it is currently being carried out. It is those who do not allow coal, mined, and I repeat – mined, not purchased, to be taken out of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions! in our mines. And everyone has already forgotten about the prisoners... plans are already in place to seize the thermal power plant and make cheap PR out of poverty,” he said.
Azov did not appreciate the Donbas blockade, and Semenchenko was called a "blank slate."
