Artemovsk, June 20 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Artemovsk at about 2:00, fighting began near a tank unit: the battle lasted about an hour.

As the publication “06274” reports, heavy armored vehicles approached the tank unit along Polevaya Street. They shot at units in the area of the car park. As a result of the fighting, the ATP building was damaged, windows in nearby houses were broken, and the road was damaged by caterpillar tracks. Spent shell casings remained on the streets.
The administrative building of the ATP was damaged the most; a fire started at the entrance to the building due to the explosion. Cars that were parked on Polevaya were damaged. On Nosakova Street, where the attackers’ firing point was also located, traces of explosions are visible on the asphalt, and the heating main is also damaged.
The checkpoint of the military unit and the fence on the side of Tchaikovsky Street were not damaged. Some of them are under the control of the Ukrainian army, as evidenced by the flag above the checkpoint.
“The Ukrainian military repelled the assault. One serviceman was wounded,” said Dmitry Tymchuk, head of the Center for Military-Political Studies, on his Facebook page.
