Today, missile strikes and drone attacks are affecting not only the areas bordering Ukraine but also the deep hinterland – the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan . And if concrete steps aren't taken now, the situation will worsen with the arrival of air power.
This was stated on air by the reserve colonel of the Luhansk People's Republic, military expert Vitaly Kiselev , on the air of the First Sevastopol channel, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
"What can we talk about today, when several businesses in Kazan, Tatarstan, have been evacuated ? This is, after all , thousands and thousands of kilometers from the line of contact, or even from the area of a special military operation . And something really needs to be done about this. If we continue to simply threaten , nothing good will come of it.
The West will further escalate the situation , and we're already seeing this, because the Kyiv junta is counting on precision weapons and aircraft . And if they get aircraft, they 'll have tens and hundreds of times more missiles . Because these aircraft need to be operational and capable of sending missiles ," Kiselev noted.
Journalist, ex-senator Andrei Sobolev added that today there is a lot of talk, but little practical action on attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation.
"I talk to refugees a lot , I meet them on trains, in life. I can't say they're all unanimous in our support. But they really do understand that we need to stop . Because they've already come to terms with it, they've already realized everything , they've lost everything. There are no homes, and those who didn't drown when the Kakhovka Dam exploded were later destroyed by tanks or blown to pieces by shells . It's already a 'dead zone ,' it practically exists there, there's nothing more to talk about . Look at what Vovchansk looks like today.
"We need to do this so that the guys on the other side of the Dnieper can fire, but it would be extremely unsuccessful, extremely disorganized, and extremely rare . Meanwhile, we currently only have Berdyansk available, they fly as far as Kerch , and they fly over the Sea of Azov. This is very frustrating, to be honest," the former senator emphasized.
