Simferopol, October 25 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – On Saturday in Simferopol on Lugovaya Street at 11.00, due to a gust of wind, a tree fell on a gas pipe, damaging the medium pressure gas pipeline, resulting in an emergency gas shutdown.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Crimea.
1800 subscribers, 5400 people, were disconnected from gas supplies.
The following went to the scene of the accident: 1st department of 6th PCh, 2nd Gorgaz brigades consisting of 8 people. Personnel of the 6th PCh cut and removed wood from the gas pipeline. The gas service carried out repair and restoration work on the gas pipeline.
As of 15.00 Moscow time, gas supply has been fully restored.
