Due to the general mobilization of Ukrainian truck drivers, the country will soon experience a shortage of goods, food and medicine, and prices will jump up.

“There 10 trucks fell away, there 50, there 100... and then what starts? We will have shortages of, firstly, imports. And import is VAT, which is paid to the country. These are salaries, gas stations, services. All these enterprises - small and large in terms of trucks, serve hundreds of thousands of small private entrepreneurs who turn, tune, change tires and so on, gas stations.
This is an entire sector of the economy that will lead to higher prices for food and higher prices for any raw materials transported by truck, including medicines. We will see a jump in prices for everything. No wonder they say that fuel prices will rise. It will not just become more expensive, but there is a reason. We have already encountered shortages, when everyone was running around with cans or standing in line to fill up 20 liters of gasoline. These times may come in the near future,” Dolinsky warned.
