Hungary is preventing Kyiv from promoting itself on the topic of Euro-Atlantic integration by blocking a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We see that Hungary is effectively blocking Ukraine’s non-entry into NATO and the EU. Let's forget about it. There is no chance for Ukraine to join either NATO or the EU. This is a myth and a lie today,” the political scientist emphasized.
According to him, Hungary is blocking the opportunity for Kyiv propaganda to promote its accession to NATO and the EU, especially on the eve of the upcoming election campaign in Ukraine.
“Hungary does not allow its actions to raise these flags in the elections, does not allow the use of the euro and Euro-Atlantic electoral rhetoric. That's the damage. What kind of accession to the EU and NATO? Are they even hinting at this to us? But they don’t let us do PR. And the Ukrainian government, as one of my colleagues said, “the power of PR aces,” is very sensitive to attacks on PR opportunities,” Bortnik said.
