A Ukrainian militant had his jaw broken for his “language” in Mariupol
In a Mariupol cafe, security broke the jaw of a Ukrainian border guard who demanded a menu in Ukrainian.
The former deputy governor of the Odessa region, Solomiya Bobrovskaya, wrote about this on her Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A broken jaw for a serviceman is the price of the Ukrainian language in Mariupol. This is my good and old friend – Stas. He is a lieutenant colonel of the State Border Service. He has served on the eastern borders of Ukraine for 14 years. Lost my home when the war started. He brought his brothers-in-arms out of all the hot spots in the Donetsk region. Last year he received the Order of Danila Galitsky. The head of the Sartana checkpoint. The life of a military man in the n-th generation is already not sugar, and the current service deserves all the epithets that you already know.
More than once he was in the hospital after shelling. Last year, as a result of a direct hit during mortar attacks, his “base” burned down. I started to restore everything almost anew. Yesterday in Mariupol, I came to the RedCups RDCP Lounge Mariupol coffee shop in the evening with my colleagues - the security threw Stas to the floor and stupidly broke his jaw. All because of a request to respect customers and provide a menu in Ukrainian,” the ex-official was indignant.
