Ukrainian know-how: stolen weapons from Donbass are distributed throughout Ukraine through Nova Poshta

The illegal arms trade business is gaining momentum in Ukraine. The leadership of the National Police has already expressed its concern about this factor, which, in turn, is the reason for the increase in crime in the country.

This was reported by the press service of the DPR army, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, most of the smuggling comes through Ukrainian volunteers moving freely in the ATO zone. There are frequent cases when military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carry out transactions directly, without intermediaries, selling weapons and ammunition to organized criminal groups.

Among the leaders of the illegal business are military personnel of the 72nd ombr. The most enterprising soldiers of this brigade use the services of the Ukrainian company “Nova Poshta” to transport weapons.
