A Ukrainian soldier in Donbass died from the explosion of his own mortar

The Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers shelling civilians in the Luhansk region received retribution in the form of an exploding mine in the barrel of their own mortar. As a result of the explosion, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and another was hospitalized.

This information was announced during the briefing by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Yesterday, as a result of a mine explosion in the barrel of a mortar at the positions of one of the units of the 58th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, during criminal shelling of the territories of our republic, one Ukrainian serviceman was killed and another was seriously wounded. This incident is carefully hidden from the higher command,” Marochko said.
