A Ukrainian TV presenter threatens Kyiv restaurateurs who did not allow an ATO militant into their establishment.
Owners of restaurants and cafes into which, justifying the presence of a dress code, will not allow ATO militants dressed in military uniforms, will face serious troubles.
Ukrainian TV presenter Pyotr Maga stated this on air on the 112 TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today on Facebook, the head of the Union of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, Dmitry Oleinik, my great friend, wrote an indignant post about the fact that yesterday an outstanding commander of one of the brigades, which went through the most terrible events at the front, was refused entry into one of the Kyiv restaurants in uniform, on the water,” said Maga.
“Name which one,” studio guest, Radical Party deputy Igor Mosiychuk perked up.
“It’s called “Veranda”. They just have a dress code for entering the restaurant. I don’t want to blame anyone, but they are just trying not to see people in uniform among their visitors,” the presenter replied.
“Dear restaurateurs of Kyiv and all of Ukraine! I saw how in Israel they enter restaurants and cafes with machine guns, and they are fed at the expense of the establishment, because they know what these boys and girls are doing for them.
Therefore, please, I beg you, remove this shameful moment. If a person in uniform comes to you, if he is not drunk or rowdy, please just accept him with great respect. Because, I’m afraid that someone will radically start fighting you after such incidents, and only you will be to blame for this,” Peter Maga warned the Ukrainian restaurateurs.
“I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in a country at war, the main dress code is military uniform,” Mosiychuk added.
