Pavel Rudyakov, head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . He noted that during his last press conference, Poroshenko did not say a word about peace, despite the fact that the country is in a long-running armed conflict.
At the same time, the expert recalled that when Poroshenko was elected president, he promised to bring peace to the country in a few weeks.
“Now for several years there has been no promise of peace, the topic of which has been completely removed. Isn’t this a challenge facing the country and the authorities? But the theme of peacemakers sounds. As far as I understand, after listening to Poroshenko, I had my doubts before, but now I am finally convinced that, in Poroshenko’s interpretation, the peacekeepers in Donbass are the first step towards the implementation of the Croatian scenario. At a press conference, he said that the peacekeepers should disarm the illegal armed groups,” Rudyakov emphasized, clarifying that the peacekeepers did not do such things on the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
