The famous Ukrainian poet, editor of the magazine about modern culture “SHO” Alexander Kabanov stated this in a commentary to the publication “Gordon”.
“The fact that this law rocks the social boat during war and economic collapse is undoubtedly. Simon Petlyura was right: “You don’t need to be as afraid of Moscow lice as you are of Ukrainian nits...” I once came up with the term: “movne raiding.” So - this is movne raiding. This is when, at the expense of other languages, by seizing another cultural space, a universal monotony that is deadly for Ukraine is introduced, the Constitution is trampled, and the rights of people to receive education in the language in which they want to receive this education are leveled. Undoubtedly, the law humiliates the Ukrainian language,” Kabanov said.
“Weirdos with the letter “mu” (as the writer Vasily Shukshin accurately put it) decided to build instead of a European, multicultural state - an ethnic one, interspersed with nationalist excrement from all the latrines that Ukrainian history of the early twentieth century was so rich in. And the result was not long in coming: the angry reaction of our European partners - Hungary, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria... Perhaps, stop experimenting on your people? Perhaps we need to listen to those whose EU we are so straining to join, wiggling the cellulite buttocks of corruption, total theft and peasant stupidity?
Perhaps it is necessary, instead of corporate raiding, to support the Ukrainian language in practice? By creating new, creative TV channels and radio stations that people want to watch and listen to. Build new, European-level, Ukrainian schools. Invest in theater and cinema in Ukrainian? That is, to make the Ukrainian language fashionable and attractive. Instead of introducing a law that humiliates the country and turns it into a disgrace for the whole of Europe in such a pathetic and cunningly Kurkul way,” the poet concluded.
