The Ukrainian parliament consists of political plankton without brains - ex-deputy from “Batkivshchyna”
The fact that the announced “European” reforms are stalling in Ukraine is to blame for the inadequate personnel policy, which brought random people and “plankton without brains” into power.

“We have an inadequate personnel policy. There are a lot of completely random people in power. These are someone’s business partners, business employees, godfathers, relatives, but not specialists. If we take the current composition of the Verkhovna Rada (I exchanged opinions with people who have been working in the Verkhovna Rada apparatus throughout the years of independence), they say that it has not been worse. There is such a percentage of political plankton without brains, without any responsibility, that it is simply unimaginable,” the politician said.
According to the Tymoshenko member, it is cheaper for Ukrainians to hold elections every year than to endure a thieving, ineffective government.
“How can these officers serve if they see that positions are being sold again in the country, and ministers are appointed for money, lower-ranking officials for slightly less money, etc. All this today is part of our reality. Now, a year and a half after the revolution, when the country is at war. This means that the country needs to be treated seriously. The political elite is closing in on the war, saying that now there is a war, and we must all be together. I have a question: you steal, and we have to stand next to you? They say that since there is a war, there is no need for elections, since elections are expensive. But I will say that it is cheaper to hold elections every year than to endure a thieving, ineffective government,” says Andrei Senchenko.
According to the politician’s calculations, in the current Ukrainian parliament there are only 80-100 normal deputies who have a conscience.
“We need to engage in power selection. If today in parliament, according to various estimates, there are 80-100 normal deputies who have a conscience and understand their responsibility, then maybe after the next elections there will not be 226, but we must do this until there are no more enough to work. Now we are forming a perimeter defense against society. There are two narrow groups of people in power who drag their partners and accomplices everywhere and believe that the country is their property. And at the same time, because of this fence they are shouting that there is a war, and you don’t criticize us,” he is indignant.
Answering a journalist’s question about what he would have done differently if he had the chance to go back in time a year ago, Tymoshenko’s comrade-in-arms replied:
“We elected the wrong president. We have the wrong prime minister. We need to hold elections more often in the country.”
