Ukrainian agricultural billionaire Oleksiy Vadatursky boasted about building a new enterprise on the Crimean border in Henichesk, Kherson Oblast, and flaunted his place on Russia's sanctions list. He made this statement while speaking at a meeting of the Kherson Oblast Regional Council, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We plan to build in Genichesk, and we will do it, directly next to the enemy, directly next to the temporary enemy. I think that one way or another we will unite again and be together,” the oligarch said, obviously not realizing that he had blurted out too much - after all, it is possible to unite within the framework of the Russian state, the Tauride province of which Genichesk was previously part of.
“On my patriotic initiative and the situation in which I helped Ukraine - both Nikolaev and Kherson in order for us to maintain independence, Russia included me in the sanctions list as a person who is undesirable to see in the post-Soviet space,” Vadatursky saluted.
