“Glory to Kievan Rus! Novorossiya is... a popular joke this morning. With God blessing! It will be a good day,” he wrote on his Facebook page, which was received with enthusiasm by his subscribers.
“Now it’s no longer possible. Let’s go for the assault,” he said.
In turn, the ATO headquarters stated that the fighting in Uglegorsk did not subside even at night. “The situation in Uglegorsk remains tense, fighting continues. The night in the ATO zone was alarming, terrorists periodically fired at the positions of our troops and populated areas,” the official statement says.
As PolitNavigator reported, the DPR leadership stated that they had completely blocked the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Debaltseve. In addition, during the fighting, the militia took Uglegorsk and surrounding areas, as well as the highway to Artemovsk.
