Ukrainian special services are developing several scenarios of provocation in the Azov Sea.
This information was announced today during a briefing by official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to DPR intelligence, the leadership of the SBU is developing several scenarios of provocations in the Azov Sea with the aim of escalating tension in the Azov waters and, against this background, attempting an armed invasion from the sea into the territory of the Republic. Options are being considered, including the sinking of a commercial vessel, both Ukrainian and foreign,” said Eduard Basurin.
According to his information, a provocation is being prepared for the first half of 2019.
