Ukrainian soldiers will die without slippers: generals write requests for army support
Kyiv, January 03 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - Ukrainian volunteer Yuriy Biryukov published part of the list of clothing supplies that, in the opinion of the command, must be purchased for soldiers.

“An expert opinion on the validity of the immediate acquisition of clothing support items... Signed by one general, four colonels and one lieutenant colonel. One hundred hundred important and necessary letters, a high syllable. So, what are we experiencing such a catastrophic shortage of, what exactly do we urgently need to buy, bypassing tender procedures, prolonging the 2014 contracts? Ready? Honestly? Slippers, damn! Barracks slippers, 62 pairs!” – without holding back his emotions, the volunteer wrote on his Facebook page.
“No, the necessary things are on the list. Field uniform 100 sets, 000 warm jackets (for some reason there are no warm trousers, I don’t know the reason). There are some bulletproof vests and helmets, tens of tons of soap and washing powder. But with all my desire to see glimpses of reason in this document, I do not see it. I don't see the wisdom of having to buy 63 pairs of barracks slippers when there aren't enough warm trousers. I don’t see the point, FUCK, in placing an order for 300 sets of field uniforms at a price of 62 hryvnia 000 kopecks! This will again be 100 sets of shit!” – says Biryukov, complaining about the low quality of things purchased for the Ukrainian army.
“And most importantly, these are not new tenders, not new manufacturers. This is a prolongation of contracts with those companies that valiantly sewed equipment last 2014,” he clarified.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously volunteers were repeatedly outraged by the fact that centralized purchases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not go directly to military personnel or are of very poor quality. In addition, the media regularly show stories that in the ATO zone, Ukrainian soldiers live in dugouts in which the water is ankle-deep.
