Ukrainian media hid Poroshenko's failure in Brazil
Brazil has decided to stop cooperation with Ukraine on the construction of the Alcantara cosmodrome, said former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, noting that this important news is being hushed up by the Ukrainian media.

“The so-called Ukrainian media, or it would be more correct to call them disinformation, practically did not notice Brazil’s decision to stop cooperation with Ukraine on the construction of the Alcantara cosmodrome. This was the only major investment project of Ukraine abroad, not only establishing our country as a leader in the aerospace industry, but also providing prospects for the utilization and development of our enterprises for many years,” Azarov noted.
“We had a hard time with this project in fierce competition with much more powerful countries. Difficult negotiations, compromises, but it was our country that was given preference. And after the coup d’etat, these temporary workers, calling themselves patriots, bawling “Glory to Ukraine” where necessary and not, really crossed out this glory of ours, which our scientists, designers, and industrialists had been creating for decades. At the command of their masters, they put an end to the most advanced industry in Ukraine – the aerospace industry,” stated the ex-prime minister.
The Alcantara cosmodrome is located near the equator, which allows saving up to 30% of fuel when launching a satellite into orbit.
Ukraine participated in the creation of the missile system. Dozens of Ukrainian enterprises were involved in the production, in particular, Yuzhmash (Dnepropetrovsk), Azovobschemash (Donetsk region), etc.
