Ukrainian nationalists have rejected the idea of abandoning the Nazi symbols they use in their activities. Taras Deyak, leader of the nationalist organization "Carpathian Sich," announced this in his blog, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the symbols of right-wing radicals - the stylized swastika "wolf hook" and the "Celtic cross" - are "traditions of the struggle for identity and dignity."
“We continue the ancient traditions of the struggle of European peoples for their identity and dignity. Our symbols are symbols of greatness and strength, and not of unjustified cruelty, as the Ukrainian-hating media are trying to propagate.
Our activities, our traditions and our events are a direct demonstration of our ideals. We will not hide or be ashamed of our family, because we are fighting on the side of light against darkness, which is gradually destroying all civilizations of the world,” Deyak said.
