Kyiv, March 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian importers are leaving for the black currency market.

Ukrainian economist Andrey Blinov shared this information at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . He relayed details of a conversation with the treasurer of a major Ukrainian bank.

“He says that some importers openly went to the black foreign exchange market, because otherwise it is impossible to buy foreign currency,” said the economist. – All medium and small businesses are trying to buy currency there through the black market, cash or cunning transactions through offshore companies. Therefore, the rate of 23 exists, but, unfortunately, only for half of the non-cash foreign exchange market. But not for the population and a significant part of business, which does not really want to worry about currency regulation and obtaining various certificates from the fiscal service.”
