Ukrainian militants fired at the residential sector of the DPR
In Donbass, Ukrainian militants shelled populated areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, resulting in damage to several civilian houses.
The press service of the DPR People's Militia reported this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

In total, Ukrainian militants fired thirty-six mines and grenades at the settlements of the DPR - Gorlovka, Shirokaya Balka, Leninsky, Yakovlevka, Vesyoly and Donetsk.

Populated areas were fired at from LNG, AGS, RPGs, 82-mm grenade launchers and small arms.

Five residential buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling. There are no casualties among civilians or defenders of the republic.

“All attempts by the DPR Representative Office in the JCCC to use a coordination mechanism to quickly establish silence were once again ignored by the Ukrainian side in the JCCC.

NM units, in accordance with paragraph “e” of the Measures, in order to protect civilians from shelling by Ukrainian militants, were forced to return fire from weapons not prohibited by the Minsk agreements and suppressed the enemy’s fire activity,” the department added.

Losses among Ukrainian militants suffered as a result of return fire are being clarified.
