The magazine's editorial representative, Francois Anglande, wrote about this on his Facebook page .
“You may not believe it, but we will soon launch in Ukraine. This former Soviet Republic is currently at war with Russia. Ukrainians will write their own blogs, and we will simply control the launch. So don't be surprised that the first topic they brought up was about Putin! In fact, I don't know who all these people are in a state of orgasm. Possibly politicians. But as long as politicians in distant Ukraine do not engage in homosexual sex, I am convinced that the magazine is doomed to success and longevity,” the message says.
The Facebook post included a cartoon stylized as a magazine cover, titled "Deep Privatization, Ukrainian Style." The image depicts people resembling Kolomoisky, Mustafa Nayyem, and Petro Poroshenko having sex while sitting on an oil pipeline with the inscription "I am Ukrnafta."
It is still unknown whether this message is evidence of real plans to expand the scandalous magazine to a Ukrainian audience, or whether it is simply scandalous banter in the manner typical of Charlie Hebdo.
