The United States has launched an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into imports of carbon and alloy steel wire rods from Ukraine.

In addition, the investigations also concern Belarus, Italy, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates, Ukrainian News reports.
This is stated in a statement from the US Department of Commerce.
According to the report, imports of wire rod from Turkey and Italy will be checked for subsidies, imports from other countries - for dumping.
The preliminary results of the investigation should be made public no later than May 12.
Let us recall that in November 2015, the United States maintained restrictions on hot-rolled flat products from Ukraine.
