Only three days, including voting day in the Donetsk Republic, were relatively calm for the residents of Donetsk. However, since yesterday evening the city has again come under artillery fire.

This morning, Donetsk was awakened by volleys of large-caliber mortars and artillery installations, and volleys of guns were heard in almost all areas. The main blow of the Ukrainian army falls on the Kyiv district of Donetsk, namely: on the territory adjacent to the Putilovsky Bridge, Kyiv Avenue, and Stratonavtov Street. Shells also reach the Kuybyshevsky district; in particular, a hit was recorded in the area of the Zapadny bus station. According to preliminary information, shelling is being conducted from the Peski area, controlled by the Kyiv security forces, and from the city of Avdeevka. There was a report that shells hit two residential buildings in the area of the Putilovsky Bridge; information about the extent of destruction and casualties is being clarified.
