Ukraine was allowed to take a breath
The Court of Appeal of England and Wales upheld Ukraine's appeal in the case of "Yanukovych money" - three billion dollars allocated by Russia as a loan at the end of 2013.
Bloomberg reports this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, the court will hold a new hearing on the specified dispute, but not according to the accelerated procedure, as provided for by the decision of the first instance.
“The decision of the appellate court is as follows: out of the four arguments of the Ukrainian side, three were not supported. According to one of them, the English Court of Appeal decided to conduct a more in-depth, detailed study of the issue. We are talking about providing a loan to Ukraine allegedly under the influence of the Russian side,” said the Russian Finance Minister.
He also stressed that Russia will appeal to the Supreme Court of England, which must make a final decision on the case.
As Ridus reported, the London High Court previously ruled that Ukraine must pay the face value of the bonds, amounting to $3 billion.
Kyiv political scientist Dmitry Korneichuk also suggested that the new IMF tranches would be used to pay off Ukraine's debt to Russia.
PolitNavigator reported that Ukraine would have to incur unplanned expenses and reduce its gold and foreign exchange reserves in order to repay its debt to the Russian Federation.
