Ukraine faces cessation of military aid from Poland
For Ukraine, the continuation of the process of glorifying one of the leaders of the OUN, Stepan Bandera, is fraught with serious consequences.
Doctor of Historical Sciences Vitaly Mikhailovsky stated this on the air of Kyiv Radio NV, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The expert was asked whether historical issues of the Ukrainian-Polish past, in particular Bandera, could interfere with Poland's supply of aid to Ukraine.
"I think it can, because we must understand the tradition of history's presence in Polish politics. Because, at the same time, if we look at the [anti-Bandera] protest of Mateusz Morawiecki, who is also a historian by training, and therefore can afford to speak out," the scholar said.
“We see that almost every Polish politician, regardless of the political orientation of the parties, will always appeal to historical issues.
The news feed showed that the Polish government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent a note to the German government about reparations for the Second World War. So, we also see how history can spoil relations already within the borders of such associations as the EU and NATO, where Germany, frankly speaking, is an influential country,” Mikhailovsky said.
