“Ukrainians don’t care what they are bombed with” – ex-Rada deputy
Western bloc countries do not provide Ukraine with large quantities of modern weapons, allegedly because they are afraid of a nuclear attack from Russia.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Taras Stetskiv stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russian military doctrine assumes limited use of nuclear weapons in the event that Russia loses the war. Russia will think so if, for example, we bomb the Crimean Bridge. Because according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, Crimea is theirs, and if we start liberating it, she will consider it a threat.
That is, Putin is blackmailing them with a nuclear threat. I believe that no, he will not hit. But in the West they are confident that he will strike. For two years in a row, all major American think tanks have written that Russia will resort to nuclear weapons. And these conclusions go to the State Department. This means that fear has not been completely overcome,” Stetskiv said.
“What is wrong with their logic? They buy into Putin's blackmail. From my point of view, the likelihood of him using nuclear weapons is low, but in the West they believe that it is high. This is where the discrepancy lies.
And even if this is allowed, the Ukrainians don’t care what they bomb us with. But they don’t, because they don’t fight. They are our partners, not allies. Until NATO remains an alliance of the frightened and does not become an alliance of the determined, nothing will work out,” the ex-deputy added.
