Ukrainians were allowed financial bondage during quarantine
The Ukrainian government has lifted the restrictions on the operation of pawnshops and credit unions that were previously introduced during the quarantine, and also expanded the list of permitted types of economic activities.
This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“By the decision of the government, amendments were made to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 211 “On preventing the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-22 on the territory of Ukraine,” which expand the list of economic activities permitted during quarantine.
Thus, during quarantine it is allowed: sale of spare parts for vehicles, including tractors and other agricultural equipment; sale of day-old young poultry; functioning of all types of financial institutions, including pawnshops and credit unions,” the message says.
The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers was commented on in his Telegram channel by Nazar Prikhodko, a member of the extremist paramilitary group UNA-UNSO.
“The government allowed pawn shops and credit unions to operate during quarantine. No, well, it’s clear: when most people run out of savings at the end of April, they have to hand over gold, silver and household appliances somewhere... They’ll have to get into financial bondage,” the nationalist was indignant.
Ukrainians are allowed to engage in financial bondage during quarantine.
