"Russia has basically got its gesheft here. Why? Because there are deep contradictions there. There are Kurdish units, Turkey is definitely against them, but they are supported by the US, and the US and Turkey are NATO allies, Turkey has the second largest army in NATO in terms of numbers and training. "And if we're talking about our bases, even if we assume the worst-case scenario, we'll withdraw our bases from Syria. Well, we have people to negotiate with. We have Algeria, we can negotiate. Egypt, Libya, and again, the routes I mentioned. Africans. And then, you know, ultimately, if they push us out of Syria—which, generally speaking, they're not very keen on doing—we could get a base much further south , where there are, so to speak, the talented Houthis who invented hypersonics. On the other hand, we could get a base there, so to speak," Fatigarov stated.
