Ukraine has chosen a deliberately losing strategy in the war against Russia - SBU Colonel
Instead of maneuver defense, the Ukrainian command chose to wage a positional war, in which Russia has a great advantage.
A military expert, retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov stated this on the video blog of political scientist Vadim Karasev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Russia is a healthy heavyweight fighter, a boxer. This is now the last round. What was our task? We had to not stand straight, as in trench warfare, so that he would hit us and we would not evade.
"Our goal is to wage a war of maneuver, a maneuverable defense. But we chose a positional one. And in the end, the enemy attacks, and we attack them. But we're middleweights, and they're heavyweights," Starikov reasoned.
The military expert was indignant that the West was not really trying to help Ukraine.
"Yes, we have good coaches, seconds, and financiers behind us, representing 30% of the world's GDP. But the world's GDP isn't really being developed to produce, to bring home the golden knuckles ," he added.
