This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik.
“Our relations have deteriorated not only with Russia, but have deteriorated critically with China, India, Iran, if you look at the latest UN resolution,” the political scientist noted. – Relations with Belarus are deteriorating before our eyes. To some extent, we found ourselves in isolation. And so far the trend is very negative. And only the next Maidan can somehow interrupt this trend, and early parliamentary and presidential elections give society a chance to restore democratic development and the connection between society and the state, which today is probably minimal in the entire history of Ukraine’s development.”
