Ukraine is losing its gas transportation system and falling out of infrastructure projects
For the last four years, Ukraine has been reducing its participation in international infrastructure projects; in the event of the loss of a contract for the transit of Russian gas and the subsequent collapse of the gas transportation system, another step on this path will occur.
Energy expert Valentin Zemlyansky announced this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Transit also means participation in Eurasian infrastructure projects, not only energy ones. Erdogan, announcing the construction of the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline, said that “we are building not just a gas pipeline, we are starting to take part in European, Eurasian processes” - additional infrastructure is being created around it, including transit through other sectors of the economy, inclusion in other chains .
And we have been getting out of these chains for the last four years. The last one is the GTS, which we risk leaving in two years,” Zemlyansky said.
