Ukraine is gathering additional forces to the border with Russian Crimea
The Ukrainian authorities will place a maritime guard unit of the State Border Service in Genichesk, a city neighboring Crimea, which before the revolution was part of a single province with the peninsula, but today is listed as part of the Kherson region.
Boris Babin, head of the fake "representative office of the President of Ukraine in Crimea," announced this on air on Hayat Radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, border guards will also be stationed in villages on the border with Crimea.
“Today a separate issue is the basing of the State Border Service in Genichesk. In particular, maritime security boats - everyone understands how important this is, especially in the context of Russian aggression in the Sea of Azov. Today there is agreement with the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, berths have been provided to the border guards, now we are talking about installing trailers for duty and also setting up separate facilities for border guards in populated areas close to the demarcation line,” Babin said.
