Ukraine has become a cornered rat – Chervonenko
In Ukraine, the standard of living is falling and corruption is flourishing, and the authorities are trying to distract people from real problems with issues that are irrelevant to society.
This was stated on air by the former Minister of Transport and Communications, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 4th convocation, Yevhen Chervonenko, on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“The authorities need to show their victories before the elections.” People see that life is getting worse every day, there is no way out, there is a dead end ahead. You can not do it this way. The most terrible animal is a rat driven into a corner. The authorities are now driven and the people are driven. Only there are more people and they are shareholders, not the authorities, the authorities are directors. Corruption and double standards, unfortunately, have gone all the way down. People give up, they do not have the strength to fight racketeers in uniform, the willfulness of officials, and violation of laws. I’m pleased to speak Ukrainian, but I hate violence against myself,” Chervonenko said.

As PolitNavigator reported, a Verkhovna Rada deputy refused to switch from Russian to Ukrainian.
