Ukraine became a neighbor of Guatemala and Tajikistan in the global competitiveness ranking
Over the year, Ukraine dropped from seventy-sixth among 144 countries to seventy-ninth among 140 countries. Its neighbors were Guatemala in 78th place and Tajikistan in 80th place.

This is reported in the “Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016” published by the World Economic Forum.
The report states that the latest geopolitical shocks that have an impact on the global economy and its growth are the crisis in Ukraine, conflicts in the Middle East, terrorism and the migrant crisis.
Switzerland is in first place in the ranking. Behind it are Singapore and the United States, which took second and third positions, respectively. At the bottom of the ranking are Mauritania (138th place), Chad (139th place) and Guinea (140th place).
At the same time, Russia took 45th place in the list.
