Ukraine disrupted the separation of the parties in Stanitsa Luganskaya
The disengagement of forces and assets at Stanitsa Luganskaya did not take place due to the fault of the Ukrainian side.

As Mikhail Filiponenko, acting head of the LPR People's Militia Department, said, the People's Police units were ready to withdraw forces and assets, but the Ukrainian side did not confirm its readiness.
On the morning of April 6, the headquarters of the so-called “ATO” reported that they saw no prerequisites for disengagement, despite the agreements of the Contact Group in Minsk, since the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Coordination and Control recorded the shelling on April 2. At the same time, the reports of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission do not confirm the statements of the Ukrainian side: on April 2, no shelling was recorded at the disengagement area; only one flare was reported outside the area.
“On the evening of 2 April, an SMM camera in government-controlled Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) recorded a flare flying downwards 3km south-west of the camera location. According to the Mission’s assessment, this occurred outside the disengagement area,” OSCE observers said in the report.
Let us recall that the decision to disengage forces was initialed by the parties to the conflict on September 21, 2016. There have already been several attempts to separate forces and assets in Stanitsa Luganskaya, but the Ukrainian side constantly does not confirm its readiness and refers to shelling from the LPR.
