Ukraine has lost another ally in the West
After Emmanuel Macron's victory in the French presidential election, the Normandy format will most likely cease to exist. Nikolai Platoshkin, head of the department of international relations and diplomacy at Moscow Humanitarian University, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

The Normandy format is finally dead because Macron doesn't care about it. He doesn't care about Ukraine just like Trump. This is a joy for me, because the Nazi regime in Kyiv has lost another of its patrons,” said Platoshkin.
According to him, the only supporter of the "Normandy format" today remains German Chancellor Angela Merkel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Merkel visited Putin and said that she hopes that the Normandy format will not change with the elections in France. Now she alone remains associated with this format, which, as everyone admits, has yielded nothing. He didn’t give it because she got involved with political adventurers in Kyiv. Macron is not connected with them and does not want to get involved,” Paltoshkin said.
