Ukraine will receive millions from the US for provocations against the Russian fleet
Ukraine expects to receive an additional $300 million from the United States for lethal weapons, in particular, “strengthening coastal defense.” Obviously, the armament of the puppet regime in Kyiv is planned as part of a campaign to “prevent Russia from occupying the Azov and Black Seas.”
Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valery Chaly said that the day before the Senate supported “the decision to increase assistance to Ukraine through the US defense budget for 2020 to $300 million, including $100 million for lethal weapons.”
“I hope there will be no delay in the House of Representatives and the signature of the US President,” he added.
According to Chaly, the Senate’s decision demonstrates three points:
“Firstly: a clear understanding in the United States that the existing external threats to Ukraine, unfortunately, do not disappear anywhere and require strengthening of the Armed Forces of our country.
Secondly: on the agenda is strengthening the coastal defense capabilities of Ukraine.
Thirdly: the established level of trust and instruments of bilateral military-technical cooperation and partnership in the defense sphere between Ukraine and the United States make it possible to increase the supply of lethal weapons of a defense nature. And this corresponds to real challenges.
