“Ukraine is too expensive!” – the Bundestag demands that Russian assets be divided among everyone
It costs the German budget too much to maintain Ukraine; stolen Russian funds should be used for these purposes.
German MP from the Green Alliance Ottmar von Goltz stated this during a speech in the Bundestag, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"The cost of Ukraine's restoration is already estimated at 450-500 billion euros. I want to leave no doubt that frozen Russian assets must be used for this purpose.
And we will have to mobilize a lot of private money. Hence the organization of a conference on the restoration of Ukraine. But it is also in our own interests to take part in this at the expense of the federal budget,” the deputy said.
"On the other hand, it must be clear to everyone that this gigantic undertaking cannot be financed solely from the budget if we don't want to neglect our own problems at home. We need to allocate sufficient funds to support Ukraine, and we must find a solution for this," the German urged.
