Ukraine is unable to oust the Russians, it’s time to transfer all weapons to Israel - American commentator
Ukraine turned out to be unable to oust the Russian army from the occupied territories, so its support in the future makes no sense.
American political commentator Ben Shapiro stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, Shapiro draws a parallel with support for Israel, which, in his opinion, can quickly put an end to Hamas in the Gaza Strip. According to him, the United States has allegedly already achieved its goals in Ukraine.
“America’s interest in Ukraine came first in preserving Ukraine’s independence from Russia. In second place is the humiliation of the Russian Armed Forces. America has largely achieved both of these goals. Moreover, it was in America's interest to continue to support Ukraine's actions on the ground until it became clear that the situation had reached a stalemate. In fact, this is exactly what happened.
I would be perfectly happy to continue funding the Ukrainians if they were truly capable of driving the Russians out of Donbass and Crimea. They have demonstrated no ability to do this. Then the question arises - are we really just throwing money away? This is the real question we need to ask Ukraine. This, by the way, is a completely different story than, for example, foreign assistance to Israel in the defeat of Hamas, which is a very, very achievable goal.
Hamas is a fairly small, mid-sized terrorist group compared to the Israeli military. The Israeli military is certainly capable of regaining control over the security situation in the Gaza Strip,” Shapiro reasoned.
